Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Collier Business Academy for Financial Literacy, where the Coyote Pack Brings Their A-Game—Every Day, in Every Way!

At Collier, we believe every student deserves an exceptional education every day. Our commitment is rooted in one simple question: How do we ensure every child learns at high levels? That question drives every decision we make, every lesson we teach, and every relationship we build.

Research consistently reminds us that the greatest influence on student achievement is the quality of teaching and the collective efficacy of educators. Educational researcher John Hattie identifies collective teacher efficacy as one of the highest-impact influences on student learning. When educators work together with a shared belief that every student can succeed, achievement accelerates. At Collier, our staff embraces this responsibility by working collaboratively, reflecting on evidence of student learning, and continuously refining our instructional practices to meet the needs of every learner.

Our work is also guided by our Professional Learning Community (PLC). Collier Coyotes are committed to three fundamental ideas:

• A Focus on Learning – Every decision begins with student learning. We ensure all students have access to rigorous, standards-based instruction and the support they need to succeed.
• A Collaborative Culture – We believe we are stronger together. Teachers work in collaborative teams to analyze data, share best practices, and develop effective instructional strategies.
• A Focus on Results – We use evidence of student learning to celebrate successes, identify areas for growth, and respond quickly when students need additional support or enrichment.

This year, our school theme, “The Collier Pack Brings Their A-Game—Every Day, in Every Way,” represents more than a slogan. It reflects our commitment to excellence in every classroom, every interaction, and every opportunity to serve students. Bringing our A-game means showing up prepared, demonstrating perseverance, taking ownership of our learning, and supporting one another as members of one unified team.

At Collier, we believe success is built through strong partnerships between students, families, and staff. Together, we will foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where students are challenged to think critically, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and develop the confidence to achieve their goals.

As principal, I am honored to serve this incredible community. I look forward to partnering with our families and celebrating the accomplishments of our students throughout the year. Together, we will continue building a culture where every child is known, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
